“I think I’m too old, so I worry about being judged for getting help now.”

“I’d had the same problems for so long, it’s too late to start therapy.”

“It’s impossible for me to change now.”

“My issues are too painful. I’ve had a bad experience with professional help in the past.”

Because opening up for the first time can be incredibly empowering, it also makes it a scary experience. No matter your age, it is never too late to start therapy or your healing journey! I see clients of ALL ages, and from every walk of life. And one thing for sure, is that there is never judgement. There are all sorts of reasons why we aren’t able to get help earlier.

In this latest video (click thumbnail above), I have a heart-to-heart with you and talk about why many folks worry about these things, and why it’s never too late to start therapy.

Firstly, some people take years before they are ready. Many folks have had other priorities and life situations who took up energy. Others have said that they needed to hit rock bottom, over and over, until they finally reach out for help. And finally, Most find it hard to trust a professional again and find the right fit. These are all okay and valid!

So no matter where you are on your journey, the door to help will be waiting for you when the time is right.
